Located in the Lincolnshire market town of Gainsborough, Marshall's Yard is the perfect destination to shop, eat and spend time with your family and friends. Open seven days a week, our centre has some of the biggest UK retailers, from clothing to homeware, and a range of independent stores. If you need a moment to chill after all that shopping, we have a variety of restaurants and cafes for you to relax and enjoy some delicious refreshments and quality food.

Marshall's Yard is well served by bus routes which either pass by the centre or terminate in Gainsborough bus station just a few minutes walk away.

To visit Marshall's Yard by train, you will need to arrive at Gainsborough Central Station which is located directly behind Marshall's Yard. Road Directions

Marshall's Yard is signposted from Tickhill and Bawtry. For satnav directions for the car park entrance use Spring Gardens, Gainsborough DN21 2AY.

From the north

Take the A1 southbound until junction 34 (Blyth) and turn left on the A614 towards Bawtry. At Bawtry, turn right at the traffic lights along the A631 to Gainsborough.

On approaching the town, cross the bridge and go through one set of traffic lights. At the Thorndike roundabout take the first exit onto Trinity Street, through the traffic lights on to Beaumont Street and Marshall's Yard will be on your right. Turn right into Spring Gardens to access the car park.

From the south

Take the A1 northbound to the junction with the A46 Lincoln road. Follow the A46 to the traffic island signposted Gainsborough A1133. Follow the road, crossing the A57 to the junction with the main A158 and follow this road into Gainsborough. Follow the signs for the town centre. At the Thorndike roundabout take the second exit on to Trinity Street, on to Bridge Street, through the traffic lights on to Beaumont Street and Marshall's Yard will be on your right. Turn right into Spring Gardens to access the car park.

From the west

Take the M62 east to junction 35. Join the M18 southbound to junction 5. Join the M180 eastbound to junction 2. Join the A161 southbound to the junction with the A631 at Beckingham. On approaching the town, cross the bridge and go through one set of traffic lights. At the Thorndike roundabout take the first exit on to Trinity Street, through the traffic lights on to Beaumont Street and Marshall's Yard will be on your right. Turn right into Spring Gardens to access the car park.

From the east

Follow the A631 signposted to Gainsborough. Follow the directions to Gainborough town centre. At the Thorndike roundabout take the third exit on to Trinity Street, through the traffic lights on to Beaumont Street, and Marshall's Yard will be on your right. Turn right into Spring Gardens to access the car park.

Parking

Marshall's Yard operates an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) car park, with a maximum stay of 4 hours and no return within 1 hour. These terms apply every day to vehicles arriving between 8:30am and 5pm.

Parking Charges:
50p for 2 hours
£1 for 4 hours

Pay and display machines are located outside M&S, Timpson's, The Works and Snap Fitness (formerly DW Fitness). Cash and contactless payments are accepted at the pay and display machines. Payment can also be made via the app advertised on site.

You must enter your full registration number into the pay and display machines or the app when purchasing your ticket in order to register with the ANPR system. Failure to do so will result in a Parking Charge Notice.

50p car parking tickets are refundable for M&S customers when spending £10 or more in store. The parking charges along with the terms and conditions apply to all drivers including blue badge holders, 7 days per week (including Bank Holidays).

We use ANPR cameras to monitor this private property and may contact the DVLA to request the Registered Keeper's details in order to send a Parking Charge Notice (PCN). The Marshall's Yard management team are not responsible for issuing any PCNs. If you do receive a PCN which you feel is unfair you will need to follow the appeal process documented in the PCN you receive from:

Disabled and Parent & Child Spaces

The car park includes 18 disabled spaces and 2 parent and child spaces.

Electric car charging

There are two InstaVolt Charging Points, located outside Cream and Paul Fox. Usual car parking term and conditions apply whilst using the InstaVolt Charging Points.

Public toilets

Public toilets and mother and baby changing facilities are available. There is a 10p fee for using the public amenities at Marshall's Yard and this money goes towards the upkeep of these facilities. Toilets are open 9:30am - 4:30pm and located by the main entrance to the car park.

Car washing

A jet wash and valet car wash service is also available from the centre's service yard. Prices start from £5.

Our Centre

At Marshall's Yard you will find a complementary blend of restaurants, cafes and shops including anchor stores such as M&S Food and Browns.

Accessibility

The centre is laid out on one level with all stores fully accessible for wheelchair users. You can hire a wheelchair free of charge from the centre by contacting our Centre Manager Melissa Clement.

Our surfaces are level and easy to walk on.

Coach trip organisers

Marshall's Yard would like to welcome all coach operators to the shopping centre to enjoy a truly unique retail experience.

Featuring historic buildings and sympathetically designed new structures, the courtyard setting creates a village square feeling, bringing together stunning architecture and leading retailers.

With 35 fantastic stores including top name retailers such as Browns, M&S Simply Food, Next, Laura Ashley and Wilkinson's, along with an Italian restaurant, coffee shops, health club and landscaped plaza, there's something for everyone at Marshall's Yard!

Coach drivers are entitled to £20 cash if they bring more than 30 passengers with them by coach, please notify centre management a minimum of 7 days before your visit to receive this incentive. To collect, just pop up to the centre management suite and staff will issue you with the cash on your arrival.

On entering Marshall's Yard please follow the signage directing coaches to the pick and drop off point and also to the coach car park.
