New business kicks off with a bang at Marshall’s Yard

17 October 2017

A new pop-up fire work shop opened on Monday [16th October 2017] at Marshall’s Yard in one of the Pattern Store units at the rear of the centre.

Opening just in time for the firework season, Rainbow Fireworks will be retailing a number of different firework packages from £3.99 to £120 for people to choose from.

Rainbow Fireworks, who have provided the impressive display on the Yard’s Christmas lights switch on as well as many other local and national events, felt that Marshall’s Yard was the ideal spot to trial a pop up business.

The unit will remain open until the New Year and will be open seven days a week from 10am until 5:00pm, 4pm on Sundays.

Owner, Colin Tindall, said: “We already have a successful store within Brigg Garden Centre but felt there was a gap in the firework retail market in Gainsborough so wanted to explore this. By Marshall’s Yard offering us a flexible, temporary lease we are able to test the market and have a presence during a really busy part of the year for our industry.”

Centre Manager, Alison Shipperbottom, said: “We’re really pleased to welcome Rainbow Fireworks to the Pattern Store. They always provide an excellent display on our Christmas lights switch on event, to be held this year on the 17th November, so we have no doubt in the quality of their products.”
