Marshall’s Yard gives Shoppers a Royal Welcome

The Team at Marshall’s Yard are preparing for a royally good weekend in celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The Union Jack flags are flying and the bunting is hung ready
to welcome shoppers over the four day Bank Holiday weekend.
As well as over 20 fantastic stores to shop at and a number
of places to enjoy breakfast, lunch or an evening meal, families are also invited
to take park in a special jubilee themed scavenger hunt this weekend.
Taking place from Thursday 2nd June until Sunday
5th June, participants will need to collect their entry forms from
The Works and on completing the hunt they will be in with a chance of winning a
hamper of goodies.
The hamper will include a red, white and blue sweetie cone from
Sweetie Perfections, Arts and Crafts supplies from The Works and Outdoor Play
from The Range plus many more surprises.
Shoppers can also enjoy live music from Saxophonist Mike
Wood on Saturday 4th June from 10:30am in the centres piazza area
where free Union Jack cup-cakes will also be handed out by the centres Beadle,
Danny.
Events and Marketing Executive, Charlotte Toplass, said: “We
are looking forward to celebrating this special occasion on the Yard.
“Shoppers can spend time soaking up the atmosphere with the
wonderful live music that’s planned on the piazza area or grab a bite to eat at
Prezzo or Caldero Lounge to really celebrate the weekend in style.”
Many of the Yard’s stores are selling jubilee themed party
staples getting the local community ready for their celebrations at home.
Stanley Hunt Jewellers will also be running a competition in
the lead up to the weekend where their 70th customer will receive a special
gift. This is to coincide with the launch of their new collections, which
includes local designer, Dollie Jewellery.
The Yards coffee shop, Cream, is also taking bookings now
for their luxury Jubilee themed afternoon tea’s, which will be available to eat
in or take away 2nd- 4th June.
