Legal firm expands into ground floor shop at Marshall’s Yard

23 October 2023

Sills and Betteridge LLP have opened their new ground floor premises at Marshall’s Yard shopping centre making the firm’s services more accessible and to accommodate a growing team.

Taking the former Specsavers unit between Card Factory and Greggs the company says the new premises and shop front to their business will raise their profile in the town and allow extra room to expand their already extensive list of services.

Chief Executive, Martyn Hall, commented: “Gainsborough will always be a special location to us as it was the first location we chose to expand our operations in the north of the county. The practice has thrived and we now look forward to developing further with the additional space and facilities.”

The expert team have been based at Marshall’s Yard since 2010 originally located at the centre’s Pattern Store before expanding their offices on to the first floor of Britannia House.

The team of legal experts specialise in a full range of services from family law and residential property to corporate and commercial work.

As well as creating space for more services to be offered, the team expect demand for services to grow from their increased visibility at the busy shopping centre. Clients are also now able to access the team and services without having to use stairs or the lift to the first floor of the building.

The Gainsborough office employs 15 professionals and has 14 further offices in Lincolnshire, Yorkshire and the East Midlands.

Centre Manager, Jodie Pacey, said: “Congratulations to the team at Sills & Betteridge who are celebrating their fourth expansion here at Marshall’s Yard.

“Sills & Betteridge have been an integral part of our local community not only offering their fantastic legal services and advice, but also for their work in the community sponsoring local family events, sports teams and their charity work.”
