Jobs 22 confirms two year lease at Marshall’s Yard, Gainsborough.
Recruitment agency Jobs 22 Ltd has recently signed a two year lease at Marshall’s Yard, Gainsborough, cementing a boost to the town’s job market.
Jobs 22 Ltd is a national organisation that provides a wealth of employment opportunities, training and services supporting job seekers back into the workplace.
Founded by British charity Catch22 and employability provider the Angus Knight, Jobs 22 Ltd works to support jobseekers whilst building partnerships with local organisations and charities to create a strong support network for their candidates.
Situated within Marshall’s Yard Pattern Store, the Gainsborough Jobs 22 branch opened on a temporary basis in 2021 and has since been operated by a team comprising business manager Adelle Lighton with employment coaches Ian Quill and Michelle Lister.
Securing a contract for a further two years enables Jobs 22 to continue providing support to businesses and individuals in the area.
"Marshall’s Yard is a great spot for an organisation like ours,” said Adelle Lighton, Business Manager at Jobs 22. “It’s perfectly central for transport links and next door to Gainsborough’s Jobcentre Plus so local employers and candidates alike can find us easily.”
James Shepherd, Estates Director, Dransfield Properties Ltd, said: “We are delighted to secure Jobs 22 on a long-term contract as one of our office tenants. The team bring something different to Marshall’s Yard and their work with the local community has already been a success.”
Sam Saunders, Regional Operations Manager at Jobs 22said: “We offer guidance, training, and health interventions as well as employment placements so it’s important we don’t add to the anxieties of jobseekers. An unusual venue that’s hard to find on the outskirts of Gainsborough wouldn’t work for us and the kind of service we want to offer to local residents.”
