It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Marshall’s Yard

22 November 2013

The beautiful festive lights have been switched on and the Christmas shopping period is in full swing at Marshall’s Yard in Gainsborough.

This year the centre has a stunning eight metre high real Christmas tree as well as the impressive illuminated festive reindeer around the fountain area and attractive pink and green lights throughout the Yard.

On the weekend of Saturday December 7th and Sunday December 8th a fantastic Christmas Crafts market will be held at the centre with the chance to pick up some special festive gifts.

There will also be a visit from some real reindeers for the Yard’s  younger shoppers and traditional carols around the tree.

The following weekend on Saturday December 14th the centre will be hosting the Christmas Farmers Market – the last chance for shoppers to pick up their delicious festive treats before the big day.

Marshall’s Yard is also organising late night shopping events every Thursday throughout December and plans are underway for carol singing throughout the run up to Christmas.

Centre Manager at Marshall’s Yard, Jackie Helliwell, said: “We love this time of year and the centre is really looking lovely and festive after out big lights switch on which took place on November 15th. We’ve had some really nice comments about our decorations this year and it’s great to have a real tree here as a centre piece.

“As well as events across the centre our stores here at Marshall’s Yard have some great offers and special festive events throughout the month of December so please keep an eye on our website for details of what’s happening.”
