Summer Fun at Marshall's Yard
Summer Fun at Marshall's Yard
21 August 2018
Families flocked to Marshall's Yard to enjoy a weekend of history, heritage and fun in the sun.
Shoppers were joined by very special guest, Poppy Troll on Friday when Poppy visited the centre for photographs with children and families – taking the opportunity to meet and greet throughout the day. Free face painting was also available and proved to be very popular with children and adults alike.
Assistant Centre Manager, Charlotte Toplass said ‘the family events are always well attended and prove to be incredibly popular at the Yard and we love to engage with our younger visitors, providing entertainment and activities for all the family to enjoy’.
On Saturday Marshall’s Yard was swinging with everything sixties! Families were able to enjoy the sixties tie-dye crafts, glitter face painting, stilt walkers and a giant game of the 1960’s classic, Twister. Maisie the Daisy, the Marshall’s Yard mascot was also spotted handing out balloons.
Plans are already underway for the next family event, the Spooky Halloween Party on Saturday 27th October which will include face painting, mask making and pumpkin design.
More information on all the events can be found on the Facebook @MarshallsYard page or on www.marshallsyard.co.uk .
