New look for Marshall’s Yard Costa Coffee as company invests in a refit

The popular Costa Coffee shop at Marshall’s Yard has a fresh new look this week after a major investment from the company to bring forward a full refurbishment.

Costa Coffee can be found in the landscaped piazza area at Marshall’s Yard and has been a popular part of the centre since it opened in April 2007.

A second Costa opened within the centre’s NEXT store in April 2016 and now the company has further invested in the award winning Gainsborough shopping centre with the extensive refurbishment.

The coffee shop was closed from January 28th through to January 31st and relaunched on Friday February 1st with a fresh new look and feel. The major refurbishment includes fully refurbished toilets, new fixtures and fittings over the coffee shops two floors as well as upgraded seating and tables and new external partitions, tables and canopy’s.

Manager of the Marshall’s Yard Costa Coffee Tracey Smith said: “We are really excited about our new re-fit, it looks fantastic and we hope all our customers enjoy the changes.”

The busy coffee shop is visited by hundreds of customers each week and is extremely popular with local shoppers and businesses.

Marshall’s Yard Centre Manager, Alison Shipperbottom said: “Costa Coffee is one our most popular stores here at the Yard and we are delighted that the company has invested in this fantastic new re-fit. The outdoor seating area by the fountain area is particularly popular during the good weather and of course during our busy events.”
