Marshall's Yard Physiotherapy Expand

25 February 2019

Marshall’s Yard’s physiotherapy and sports clinic is celebrating its 7th Birthday this year with an expansion.

The popular Gainsborough clinic has expanded into the unit next door and they now offer a rentable community space for exercise, complementary therapies and other community uses.

The space is also open to local organisations and businesses looking for meeting and training spaces.

Since opening 7 years ago, the clinic has created nine jobs and offers a range of therapies including physio, acupuncture and various other treatments.

The clinic is one of eight across the region and Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist Steven Speers heads up the team in Gainsborough

Steven said: “We are delighted to see our business grow and to now be in a position to offer a flexible, usable space for organisations and businesses that can offer something complementary to our services.”

It is a great way of offering a wider range of services to our customers and we hope with the equipment we’ve already invested in and the organisations spoken to that we’ll soon be able to add a range of exercise classes and therapies to our existing offer.”

The expansion means the Pattern Store units are now fully let following the expansion of Hope Church and the arrival of new tenants Drumbeat Marketing and Sophie Amelia Hair.

The clinic’s unit is named The Workroom, paying tribute to the building’s heritage which was once used as workshop areas forming part of the Marshall’s engineering site.

Centre Manager for Marshall’s Yard, Alison Shipperbottom, said: “It’s great to see the businesses within our Pattern Store expanding as the units were set up in a way that small start-up businesses could lease the space and then once established expands their units to form larger premises.

“It is fantastic that the Pattern Store is fully let adding to the great mix of businesses in the town.”
