Marshall’s Yard history to be celebrated on Father’s Day.

11 June 2019

The team at Marshall’s Yard are preparing to step back in time this weekend for a special visit from some vintage Marshall’s tractors.

The annual Father’s Day event will take place on Sunday 16th June with more than 20 Marshall’s Tractor Engines due to take part this year.

From 10am until 3pm tractor enthusiasts will be given the chance to step back in time with a stunning display of these fantastic old vehicles which span almost two centuries of Marshall’s Yard history.

The display is a hark back to when the Marshall’s Yard site was one of the largest tractor manufacturers in Europe.

Centre Manager, Alison Shipperbottom said: “This is such a popular annual event and is a great opportunity to watch tractor history come to life and to have these wonderful old vehicles back at the Yard once again.

“We love celebrating the heritage of Marshall’s Yard and there are lots of lovely features all around the centre that pay tribute to the past but having the wonderful tractors on site is always a really special event for us.”

The centre will also be screening Tractor Ted – All About Tractors  at 11am on Sunday.
