Gainsborough Gets Ready for a Haunting Halloween

Are you feeling brave enough? Then come to Gainsborough if you dare to celebrate a spooktacular Halloween weekend.

On Saturday 27th October, Gainsborough will be celebrating all things spooky with a fantastic line up of  family activities right across the town - both in the Town Centre and Marshall’s Yard.

Marshall’s  Yard and Gainsborough’s Independent Traders have joined together to bring another exciting Halloween event this year.

The market place will feature a giant wooden pirate ship with performances from The Studio Street Dancers and Live signing from the Gainsborough Performance of Art Group.

And at Marshall’s Yard there will be free horse and carriage rides, along with a pumpkin design workshop, the best dressed family competition and a spooky Halloween scavenger hunt.

The spectacular fire act finale finishes the activities at 5pm ready for the stunning firework display at 6.30pm on the Riverside.

Assistant Centre Manager at Marshall’s Yard, Charlotte Toplass said: “Halloween is always a fun event and it is great to see the local community come together and dress up for a great day of fun and entertainment.”
