Gainsborough Farmer’s & Craft Market is preparing for a sizzling summer line up this Saturday 10th July from 9am until 3pm in Market Place.
Traders are offering a taste of summer thanks to their amazing fresh produce, sweet treats and bespoke crafts and homeware, perfect for every home and garden this season.
For a sumptuous barbecue or picnic, Redhill Farm Free Range Pork are offering their winning Wimbledon hampers featuring free range pork pies and ham that everyone will ‘love’.
Fishmonger Patrick Capps will be bringing his delicious fresh fish perfect for a summer evening, plus Rick Green from The Fishcake Company will be returning with his hand prepared fishcakes offering a true taste of summer.
Returning trader Rubecula Aromary will be once again offering their handmade vegan wax melts, plus their jumbo outdoor citronella candle for just £8.25 which has over 90 hours burn time and helps deter insects, making it the perfect accompaniment to al fresco dining.
The market welcomes new trader The Real Bloom Company, selling freshly cut flowers from a Lincolnshire micro-farm and celebrating the true British flower seasons.
Other traders forming the line up includes Heavenly Currys, Kevin Lee’s Handmade Pies, Hepy’s Hog Roast, Pickles Preserves, Sarah’s Sweet Treats, Mount Pleasant Windmill, The Man from Skidby, Special Editions Chocolate, P.B’s Wood N Art and Ted and Flo Home and Living.
There will also be live music from busker Emily Toward.
Since its reopening in June 2020, the market moved from its original location on Market Street to Market Place.
The market is organised with all safety measures in place ensuring all stallholders adhere to Covid-19 guidelines, including socially distanced stalls and hand sanitiser available.
The monthly Farmers’ market is held on the second Saturday of every month and is part of a joint initiative coordinated by Marshall’s Yard with West Lindsey District Council.
Charlotte Toplass, Marshall’s Yard Tenant Liaison Executive, said: “With the weather hopefully improving over the summer months we welcome shoppers to visit the market and stock up on produce and homeware perfect for their next picnic or barbecue.
“Plus we’d like to thank all new and returning traders and customers for their continued support.”
