Fun for the Full Family at Farmers’ Market

6 June 2022

Joining this Saturday’s line up of local producers there will also be a variety of family fun activities at Gainsborough’s Farmers’ Market.

From 10am until 1pm children can take part in a circus skills workshop trying out their juggling skills or even having a go on a unicycle.

There will also be lots of games set up in the Market Place, free face painting and a guest appearance from a special little pig.

Families can also enjoy something sweet from new trader, Custom Bakes Lincoln, who will be attending the market for the first time with their selection of tasty traybakes.

This month’s market also welcomes new trader, Huntsman Game, with their selection of fresh, wild meat products including duck, venison and rabbit. They join the regular line-up of traders including Mount Pleasant Windmill with their artisan breads, Redhill Farm with their award-winning free-range pork and Kevin’s Pies.

Regular trader, Rubecula Aromary, will also be attending with their selection of candles and wax melts and will be offering some special Father’s Day gift ideas.

Events and Marketing Executive, Charlotte Toplass, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming both our regular and new traders this weekend to the Farmers’ Market.

“We are also making the most of the sunny weather forecast for this Saturday and hoping with the free entertainment we have running families show up to join in the fun.”

Gainsborough’s Farmers’ Market is a joint initiative coordinated by Marshall’s Yard and West Lindsey District Council.
