Family fun plans are hatching in Marshall’s Yard this Easter time

7 April 2017

The team at Marshall’s Yard in Gainsborough will be hosting their annual Easter Extravaganza the weekend after the 10th birthday celebrations.

Entertainment and activities are planned throughout the day with the event starting at 11am with plenty of fund for youngsters to get involved in including the popular Easter Egg Hunt hosted by the Gainsborough Lions and a free Easter Egg Design Competition.

Children can either bring their own egg design from home or create one in the special craft area – judging will take place at 1:45pm.

There will also be free face painting between 11am-2pm, a special visit from the Easter Bunny and entertainment from dance groups such as Tracey Everett Fox School of Dance, Gainsborough Musical Theatre Society and Wendy Foster Theatre School.

The event will finish off with an Easter bonnet parade at 2pm around the fountain area.

Assistant Centre Manager, Charlotte Toplass, said “This is a great event to keep the momentum going after our 10th birthday celebrations - there is so much going on for everyone to enjoy. We’ve got a great day lined up with some fantastic competitions to take part in and great prizes to be won.”

This event kicks off a packed spring and summer programme of events and activities including the return of the popular Father's Day tractor event and our Fashion Show in September.”
