Countdown to more stores opening at Marshalls Yard

6 April 2021

The team at Marshall’s Yard in Gainsborough are preparing for more of the centres stores and businesses to reopen from next Monday. (April 12th)

The centre’s key essential retailers have traded through the third national lockdown – including M&S Simply Food, Wilkos, Poundland and Superdrug alongside takeaway services which have been available from businesses including Cupcakes and Greggs.

And on Monday (April 12th) the lockdown easing will see more stores opening their doors to their customers for the first time since January.

Non-essential stores will be permitted to reopen to shoppers as well as gyms, hairdressers and beauty salons.

Businesses including Browns Department Store, Mountain Warehouse, Card Factory, Next and Stanley Hunt Jewellers will all re-open at Marshalls Yard.

The centre’s brand-new Snap Fitness gym will also open its doors to members as well as the Rochell Rose Salon and Sophie Amelia Hair.

It’s hoped that restaurants and cafes will open to indoor diners from May 17th when other businesses including hotels are also permitted to open. In the meantime shoppers will be able to sit outside under the rule of six or the new two households rule.

Tenant liaison executive at Marshall’s Yard, Charlotte Toplass, said: “We have been working closely with all our stores here at the centre to ensure a smooth return to trading. We are looking forward to welcoming more of our stores back and of course our customers.

“We would ask our customers to check opening times before planning their trip.”
