Change in “no return” parking period at Marshall’s Yard

30 October 2018

The team at Marshall’s Yard in Gainsborough have announced a change to the centre’s car parking regulations.

From Thursday 8th November the “no return” period at the 330 space car park will be extended from 30 minutes to one hour.

The move is designed to deter staff parking in the Marshall’s Yard car park and ensure there are always spaces available for customers - particularly important during busy times.

Car parking charges remain exactly the same - 50p for up to two hours and £1 for four hours with a four hour maximum stay.

The car park is managed by an Automatic Number Plate Recognition system (ANPR) with customers obtaining a pay and display ticket on arrival.

Centre Manager at Marshall’s Yard, Alison Shipperbottom, said: “This change in the “no return” policy is designed to ensure that we always have available spaces for our customers here at Marshalls Yard and to deter staff at the centre from parking here which is not what the customer car park is for.

“We’re keen to get the message out to our customers about this small change and our customer service team will be on hand as always to answer any questions.”
