Specsavers focus on store makeover at Gainsborough’s Marshall’s Yard

The Specsavers store at Marshall’s Yard in Gainsborough has undergone a fantastic new refurbishment, bringing a range of new services to the practice.

Specsavers, next to Greggs and Card Factory, opened at The Yard in 2007 and has built up a strong customer base over the last seven years.

Now the company has invested £150,000 in its 1,168 sq. ft. unit, transforming the store and giving it a new look and feel for customers.

Three new members of staff have also been recruited and state of art equipment installed – including a new Fundus Camera, which enables patients to view the back of their eye on an iPad. The system helps in the early diagnosis of a range of eye problems.

The investment at Specsavers has also included a third testing room allowing the team to offer more appointments.

The company has Karl Lagerfeld and Jeff Banks frames available at the new look Gainsborough store and a free testing voucher can be downloaded from the website http://www.specsavers.co.uk/stores/gainsborough/free-eye-test

Jacqui Nicol from Specsavers said: “We’re delighted we have been able to invest in the branch here at Marshall’s Yard and also to expand our team. We’ve had some lovely comments from our customers about the changes.”
