Gainsborough personal trainer qualifies 3rd in British Heavyweights competition

29 June 2016

Personal trainer, Paul Cooke, has been awarded a place in the British finals for his 2nd consecutive time.

Paul, who works at DW Sports at Marshall’s Yard in Gainsborough, was recently placed 3rd in the heavyweight category in the Yorkshire Championships run by the Natural Physique Association (NPA) earning him a place in the NPA British Finals.

Paul has worked as a personal trainer at the Gainsborough gym since 2010 and competing with the NPA is something not only important to Paul’s own personal goals but sets a strong example to his clients by inspiring people to create the best fitness possible by following a natural healthy lifestyle.

Paul said: “Placing 3rd and receiving a place at the British Finals in the only lifetime natural bodybuilding competition in the country has left me elated. It has made all the hard work in the gym and strictness in the kitchen worthwhile.

"I love to set myself personal goals that keep me motivated, whilst also leading by example in my work. I like to work with a range of clients from competing bodybuilders, like myself, to people just starting out in the gym and individuals just simply wanting to rehabilitate after an injury.

"It’s important that the approach is set differently for each individual however the end goal is still the same, to be as healthy as possible.”

Keep checking the Marshall’s Yard website and Facebook page for details on how to join DW Fitness as a member and opportunities to train with Paul.
