Fun in the sun for Wimbledon finals

Last weekend shoppers took some time out to enjoy the Wimbledon Finals on the big screen at Marshall’s Yard.

The sun was shining and shoppers took to the fountain area to sit back and relax with a glass of fizz and strawberries whilst watching the finals on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

The team dressed up in Wimbledon uniform and served fresh strawberries and prosecco to shoppers with all donations going to the centres chosen charity the Scotter Ward at John Coupland hospital.

Charlotte Toplass, Assistant Centre Manager at Marshall’s Yard said "The atmosphere over the weekend was brilliant, offering something a little different for shoppers to take some time out and enjoy the sunshine whilst getting into the Wimbledon spirit with strawberries and prosecco."
