Eggcellent fun had at Marshall's Yard this Easter

19 April 2017

Families hopped down to Marshall’s Yard over the Easter weekend for a fun-filled Eggcellent Easter event.

Easter followed on from the 10th Birthday celebrations last weekend. Although the weather was not as warm as it could have been, families still came to enjoy the fun and entertainment organised by the award winning shopping centre- which included a live dance performance and Easter themed competitions.

The Easter bunny also visited and bounced around the Yard. Children took part in the free Gainsborough Lions Easter Egg Hunt and Egg Design Competition, which was organised by Marshall's Yard team.

The staff at The Florist were faced with some tough decision making when judging all the creative entries for the Easter Bonnet Parade, but the first prize for the competition was awarded to Larissa Vicente (3 years old). Runner up prizes were also handed out.

Ruby Laura Rae was the lucky winner of the Easter Egg hunt competition and the first place prize for the Easter Egg Design Competition was awarded to Bradley Hurst.

Assistant Centre Manager at Marshall's Yard, Charlotte Toplass, said: "It was great to see so many people here this Easter weekend enjoying our Easter themed event.

"There was a great atmosphere on the centre which has continued on from last weekend’s 10th Birthday celebrations”

"We are really looking forward to our next big event which will be the popular Marshall's Tractor's event on Father's Day in June."
