New Business Venture at Marshall’s Yard is a Piece of Cake!

Gainsborough couple Azeem and Leeza Mohsan are turning their passion for home made cupcakes into a brand new business venture at the town’s Marshall’s Yard.

They’ve just opened a brand new kiosk next to Marks and Spencers at the Yard – called Cup-Cakes –selling delicious home made cupcakes, thick creamy milkshakes, speciality coffee and tea.

The new business is Gainsborough’s first cup cakery – customers will be able to eat in and take and chose from a yummy range of flavours baked fresh daily.

Leeza said: “The business is something that has really grown from just baking cupcakes for friends and family.

"This opportunity at Marshall’s Yard came along and we are really excited about having our own little shop here. We will be launching a website so people can order on line as well as coming into the shop. Cakes for weddings, corporate events and other special occasions can also be ordered".

The new kiosk at Marshall’s Yard has been completed by Lincolnshire contractorsHorsman Homes and represents a further £40,000 investment at the successful development.

Centre manager at Marshall’s Yard, Jackie Helliwell, said: “Cup-Cakes is a great addition to the line up here at Marshall’s Yard and we are really delighted to be welcoming another growing local business to the centre.”

Cup-Cakes can be found in the brand new kiosk at Marshall’s Yard next to Marks and Spencers Simply Foods.
