Gainsborough Farmers' Market Welcomes Local Brewery and Award Winning producers to the Popular line up!
It's Gainsborough Farmers' Market this Saturday and this month welcomes a selection of new producers to the market’s popular line up just in time for Christmas.
Tom Wood Brewery based in Melton Ross will be joining the market this Saturday selling a fantastic range of Tom Wood core and seasonal brews. The Wood brothers have been brewing for over 15 years using the finest quality Malting Barley grown in north Lincolnshire for use in the brewing of real ale.
In addition to real ale, the award winning Lincolnshire Poacher Cheese will be joining the line up selling a fabulous selection of their award winning products including the ever popular Lincolnshire Poacher, Vintage Lincolnshire Poacher, Smoked Lincolnshire Poacher, Lincolnshire Red and their strongest product which isn't for the faint hearted - Double Barrel! Organic free range eggs and Lincolnshire Poacher Butter will also be available at the Market from this Saturday onwards.
Also joining the line up this Saturday will be Croft Apiaries from Market Rasen who are an independent bee farm producing Lincolnshire honey. On Saturday's market a selection of honey will be available and in different quantities - just in time for the festive period!
In addition to the above producers, a delicious array of fresh pork, beef, lamb, goat cheese, bread, fudge, Lincolnshire Plum Bread, preserves and chutneys will also be available.
Tom Wood, Proprietor of Tom Wood Brewery says, "We are very much looking forward to our first time at the Gainsborough Farmers' Market this Saturday. We believe that our locally brewed ale will compliment the selection of fantastic produce already available on the market - and we hope the people of Gainsborough will enjoy the ale as much as we do!"
Medi Parry, Assistant Centre Manager at Marshall's Yard says "We are delighted to welcome Tom Wood Brewery, Lincolnshire Poacher Cheese and Croft Apiaries to the Farmers' Market this Saturday. Welcoming new producers to the line up of delicious locally grown produce in time for Christmas is fantastic!
