Mamma Mia! It's Italian Weekend at Marshall's Yard!
Marshall’s Yard in Gainsborough is saying Ciao e benvenuto to all things Italian this weekend with a fantastic three day line up of food, entertainment and fun.
The Yard is bringing the spirit of Italy to the town from Friday (July 30th) to Sunday (August 1st) with it’s special summer Italian celebration of some of the sights, sounds and taste of Italy to the heart of Gainsborough.
There is a special treat for everyone this weekend with a variety of Italian produce, entertainment, art and special offers throughout the three day event 10am – 4pm, with the market open for longer.
The Mamma Mia Italian market will be at the centre bringing a taste of Italy to the town. All the food on sale is produced in Italy and represents the country’s many different regions. Olive oil, vinegar, cheese, bread, spicy salami, olives, pizza and Parma ham are only some of the mouth-watering produce on sale.
And as well as the market, a spectacular display of Italian sports cars and fun Fiats will be on site along with an Italian Living Statue who visitors will be able spot by the fountain area.
Morton Art Club will be holding an Art Exhibition at the Engine House as part of the celebrations and an Italian Opera singer will also be performing on Saturday and Sunday.
Free horse and carriage rides, lambrettas and caricatures will also be on site during the event – and don’t forget to look out for the fantastic special offers some of the stores have lined up.

The Italian Weekend takes place this Friday, Saturday and Sunday (30th, 31st July & 1st August) from 10am to 4pm at Marshall’s Yard, Gainsborough.
