New face joins management team at the Yard!

John Davison, has joined the management team at Marshall’s Yard – bringing his retail knowledge and marketing ideas to the Gainsborough shopping and leisure centre.

He is already a familiar face in Gainsborough – before taking up his new position he was working as manager at the JJB store at Marshall’s Yard.  

John, who hails from Lincolnshire,  has worked at JJB for 12 years, now he’s bringing his skills and retailing experience to the role of Assistant Centre Manager working alongside the Centre Manager Janet Linfoot.

John, who is 34, started his retailing career in Lincoln and has worked at stores across the region recently returning to Lincolnshire to manage the JJB store in Gainsborough.

Part of John’s role will be to work closely with the tenants at Marshall’s Yard and organise events at the centre.

John said: “I am really excited about this new challenge and looking forward to playing an important role in raising the profile of Marshalls Yard across the region and liaising closely with the retailers to improve consumer awareness and to take Marshall's Yard to the next level in shopping experience. This is a fantastic place and as it is the main focal point of the town we want to let more people know what Gainsborough has got to offer.”

Janet Linfoot, Centre Manager said: “We are delighted to welcome John to the team, this is an exciting time for the centre and we are pleased to have someone with John’s enthusiasm and experience on board.”
